Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation and take some time to explore the quaint streets, beautiful parks, and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

The excitement continues as you start your day with a hearty breakfast and a scenic funicular ride from Stary Smokovec to Hrebienok. 

The trail will then lead you through lush forests and past pristine alpine meadows to historic Zbojnicka hut in Great Cold Valley, originally built as a shelter for shepherds and travelers navigating the rugged terrain of the Tatras. At the hut you get to enjoy a well-deserved rest and soak in the panoramic views. 

If you keep an eye out for wildlife, you might even spot some chamois and marmots. You will finish off your day with a walk back to Hrebienok and a relaxing funicular ride back to Stary Smokovec.

After refueling the energy with a delicious breakfast, you will take another funicular ride to Hrebienok. Here you will set off on your hike, passing through stunning landscapes of rugged peaks and glacial valleys. Along the way, you’ll be treated to magnificent views of the High Tatras, offering limitless photo opportunities.

Hiking through picturesque Velicka Valley will lead you to Sliezsky Dom, the highest mountain hotel in Slovakia, you can enjoy a delicious Slovakian meal at the restaurant and soak in the serene beauty of your surroundings. 

After enjoying your time at Sliezsky Dom, retrace your steps back to Hrebienok and descend to Stary Smokovec.

After breakfast, you will take the already-known funicular ride to Hrebienok, where your new journey begins. 

You will continue to traverse rugged terrain and pristine wilderness as you make your way to Skalnate Pleso,  one of the top attractions in High Tatras, nestled amidst towering peaks and rocky cliffs. Take in the stunning alpine scenery and breathe in the fresh mountain air as you reach this natural gem. 

After soaking in the beauty of the lake, you will descend via cableway to Tatranska Lomnica village, where you’ll spend the night in comfortable accommodations.

Today offers a well-deserved break from hiking. 

After a hearty breakfast, you will board the cableway from Tatranska Lomnica to Skalnate Pleso, where you’ll transfer to another cableway leading to Lomnicky Peak. The panoramic views from Lomnicky Peak are simply spectacular, as it stands at an impressive 2,634 meters above sea level.

On a clear day, visitors can see for miles around, taking in the beauty of the Tatras and beyond. Here you can take time to marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views of the High Tatras and surrounding valleys before returning to Tatranska Lomnica via cableway.

Fuel up with breakfast before you embark on your final full day of hiking, which will take you to one of the most beautiful destinations in the High Tatras. 

Following a scenic route through Biela Voda and Biele Pleso, you’ll ascend towards the traditional Zelene Pleso Hut. Right next to it, you will find Tatras’ hidden gem. Zelene Pleso, known for its striking emerald-green waters. Formed during the last Ice Age thousands of years ago, its glacial origins add to the mystique of this beautiful destination. 

Take a moment to relax and enjoy the tranquility of this pristine wilderness before retracing your steps back to Tatranska Lomnica for a well-earned rest.

As your journey through the Tatra Mountains draws to a close, take a moment to soak in the experiences from the past week.
